Future Finance, Europe’s leading private student lender, has closed a GBP100 million funding facility agreement with Waterfall Asset Management.
To date, Future Finance has raised over EUR90 million in equity and GBP150 million in debt. The new debt facility will allow Future Finance to continue to grow its student lending business, which has already funded close to GBP70 million in loans to deserving students.
Future Finance’s mission is to expand access and opportunity for deserving university students and young professionals in the UK.

Oakley Capital Investments’ Oakley Capital Private Equity II is to sell its stake in Facile.it, an Italian price comparison website, to EQT VIII (EQT).
Oakley Capital Private Equity III (Fund III) will invest EUR80 million alongside EQT as a minority partner to continue to benefit from Facile’s strong market leading position in the Italian market, which still has significant structural growth potential.

Global investment bank GCA Altium has advised video games label Team17 on the completion of its initial public offering (IPO) on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange, which included a GBP107.5 million fundraising.
On admission, Team17 had a market capitalisation of GBP217 million.

Private equity firm Aretex Capital Partners is to acquire Alerian, a provider of energy infrastructure indices and market intelligence based in Dallas, Texas. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

A cross-jurisdictional Carey Olsen team has advised Strategic Value Partners (SVP) in its acquisition of Vita Group from TPG.
The UK-based Vita Group, which had been owned by TPG since 2005, develops, manufactures and markets flexible polyurethane, Talalay latex and flooring products to customers across Europe, the US and China. It operates 37 sites in 15 countries and employs around 2,700 people. Last year it recorded preliminary sales of EUR704 million and Ebitda of EUR40 million.
