Epiris Fund II, advised by Epiris LLP, has agreed to acquire Time Inc UK (TIUK), one of the UK’s largest consumer magazines and digital publishers, from Meredith Corporation. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. TIUK’s 50-plus brands reach 17 million adults and 13 million online and digital users across the UK. The company’s portfolio spans a range of interest areas, from entertainment and women’s lifestyle to luxury, sports and technology. CYOSS a German provider of data analytics, IT and OT security, has acquired RadarServices, a European technology company in the field of cyberattack detection & response. Hg has today made an investment in DADA, a provider of online hosting services to SMEs in Italy, the UK and other regions across Europe. Founded in 1995, DADA is headquartered in Florence and has around 650,000 business and consumer customers across Europe. DADA’s digital services enable SMEs to administer their online presence: creating, managing and hosting domains and websites.   As well as operating in Italy under the Register.it brand, DADA also operates in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Portugal and the Netherlands under the Namesco, Register365, Nominalia and Amen brands, respectively.   The process follows an initial investment
Sobera Capital has acquired a portfolio of 12 minority and majority equity holdings in private companies mainly in the life sciences sector from Innoveas International Ltd. The assets, which include, among others, interests in Presidio Pharmaceuticals, EffRx Pharmaceuticals, MORE Medical Solutions, Axellis Ventures and MyoScience, are based mainly in Europe and the US. Sobera Capital was backed in this secondary direct transaction by several family offices and entrepreneurs.   Sobera Capital is a Berlin based independent secondary direct investor with a focus on growth and small-cap funds and assets in TIMES, healthcare and selected other industries.
One Equity Partners (OEP) portfolio company Simplura Health Group (Simplura), a provider of home care services for elderly and disabled populations, has completed the acquisition of SarahCare of Jenkintown, an independently owned home and community-based services and adult day care company. Financial terms of the private transaction have not been disclosed.   Headquartered in Jenkintown, PA, SarahCare of Jenkintown provides companion services, nutrition and medication assistance, nursing, shopping, transportation, hospice, palliative care and other services. Foresight Group (Foresight) has sold its investment in ICA Digital (ICA), realising a 2.4x return, through a trade sale to ASL Group. Foresight originally invested GBP2 million to fund the management buyout of ICA Digital, a managed print services business based in Horley, UK.
