Ogier has advised crowdfunding platform Dragon Victory International Limited on its initial public offering of shares listed on NASDAQ. Ogier advised on the Cayman law aspects of the IPO alongside lead counsel Hunter Taubman Fischer & Li LLC.   Dragon Victory International Limited offers reward-based crowdfunding, business incubation services and financial services to entrepreneurs in China. Last Friday’s successful IPO raised USD8.5 million. Founded in 2014 by former NHS chief Jon Chadwick, Durham Gin is a small-batch craft distillery that creates spirits using a 400 litre copper pot. Telcoin, a new cryptocurrency promoting financial inclusion through telecommunications industry partnerships, has secured an investment from East Ventures Managing Partner and Mixi co-founder Batara Eto. Eto served as co-founder and CTO of Mixi from 2004 to 2007. FFL, a private equity firm focused on growth investments in middle market companies, has completed an investment in Bacharach Holding Corp, a manufacturer of refrigerant gas leak detection and monitoring instruments and combustion and emissions analysers. Terms of the private transaction have not been disclosed.   Bacharach designs and manufactures gas test and measurement (T&M) instrumentation for commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, and also develops performance management software for its monitoring products.
