Vulog has raised USD20 million in Series B funding with the participation of Frog Capital (UK), Inven Capital (Czech Republic), as well as historic investors Bpifrance (France) and ETF Partners (UK).
These funds will be used to strengthen the company’s leadership in the mobility space, both to grow its sales and marketing teams and further the development of its technology.

BDC Capital, the investment arm of BDC, has completed a USD10 million minority equity investment in Rx Drug Mart (RxDM), alongside Persistence Capital Partners (PCP) and RxDM’s other existing shareholders.
The investment was made in support of RxDM’s growth strategy and in part enables the company to continue to look at acquisition opportunities.

Private equity firm Blackford Capital has exited its ownership of Westlake Village, California-based personal injury lien funding company Key Health.
Key Health is the national leader in providing personal injury lien funding and acts as a liaison between medical providers and personal injury victims’ attorneys to ensure access to necessary medical care.

Middle-market private equity firm Calera Capital has completed the sale of United Site Services (USS) to Platinum Equity. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Calera Capital acquired a majority interest in United Site Services in August 2014.
United Site Services, based in Westborough, Massachusetts, is a leading provider of portable restrooms, temporary fence and related site services. The company serves customers throughout the United States through a network of more than 80 locations and the largest fleet of portable sanitation equipment in the country.

JCRA Group, a provider of hedging, financial risk and debt consultancy services, including interest rate and foreign exchange advice, has secured the backing of private investor clients of Connection Capital, the specialist private client investment business, for its GBP13.6million management buy-out (MBO).
Connection Capital clients invested GBP6.7 million in the deal, which will support JCRA’s management team in executing its business development plans: driving growth by maximising synergies within its business, continued geographic expansion across their existing areas of operation, and implementing technological enhancements to drive efficiency.
