Glennmont Partners has completed the refinancing of the Sleaford Renewable Energy Plant on behalf of its dedicated clean energy fund, Glennmont Clean Energy Fund Europe I, as part of a programme of realisations of value from the Fund.
Glennmont Partners is one of Europe’s largest fund managers focusing exclusively on investment in clean energy infrastructure. Glennmont raises long-term capital to invest in alternative power generation projects including wind farms, biomass power stations, solar parks and small-scale hydro power plants. Sleaford REP is a
IGF, a commercial finance provider for SMEs, has delivered a GBP200k invoice finance facility for Lincolnshire-based construction and maintenance firm Rubico.
Rubico sought a new finance partner to provide an injection of working capital into the business, and began working with IGF in July 2017. The facility will allow Rubico to win larger contracts across the wider retail sector, particularly within the food and beverage industry, as well as meet its future ambitions to hire more staff and expand outside of its current premises in Stamford.

Global accountancy network HLB International has added Shandong Hexin CPAs LLP (Hexin) to its network in China.
Based in Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, Shandong Hexin CPAs LLP was established in 1987, as the first, and currently only indigenous firm in the province, holding the license to audit securities. YFM has sold its funds’ investments in Harvey Jones Kitchens in a secondary buyout backed by Allied Irish Bank (GB), achieving a return over two-time on the original investment in the process.
Funds advised and managed by YFM backed the buyout of the premium kitchen manufacturer and retailer from the original founder when the company comprised of 10 showrooms primarily based in the South and Home Counties. During the time YFM funds have been invested, the business has been transformed into a national brand thanks to significant investment in people, marketing, product development and the opening of 21 new showrooms
DA Davidson & Co has acted as exclusive financial advisor to private equity firm JW Hill Capital (JW Hill) on its purchase of GKN Aerospace Bandy Machining, a subsidiary of GKN Aerospace.
The transaction closed on 11 August, 2017 and represents another successful cross-border closing for DA Davidson’s investment banking group. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Blackstone is to acquire Harvest Fund Advisors (Harvest), an independent investment management firm with over USD10 billion in assets under management.
Harvest primarily invests capital raised from institutional investors in separately managed accounts and pooled vehicles, investing in public master limited partnerships (MLPs) holding US midstream energy assets. Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

The Pracuj Group (Grupa Pracuj), a provider of Human Resources (HR) solutions that help companies recruit, retain, and develop employees in Central Europe, has secured a minority investment from TCV.
TCV provides growth equity capital for both private and public technology companies in the US, Europe, and internationally. The Pracuj Group intends to use the funding to fuel international expansion and expand its product suite. As part of the investment, John Doran and David Yuan, General Partners at TCV, will join the company’s supervisory board.
