Flybondi, Argentina´s first Ultra Low Cost Airline, has completed an investment round of USD75 million with major investors from the aviation industry.
The company expects to transport 10 million passengers in five years and double the air travel market in Argentina. Among the highly-experienced groups and executives investing in Flybondi are Cartesian Capital Group LLC, Yamasa Co. Limited, Michael Cawley (former COO at Ryanair Holdings Plc), Michael Powell (former CFO at Wizz Air Holdings Plc), as well as other European and Argentinian private investors.

Newgate Private Equity has agreed to acquire Arle Capital Partners Limited (ACPL), manager of the Candover 2005 and Candover 2008 Funds, as well as various co-investment vehicles.
Following completion ACPL, under Newgate’s ownership, will continue to manage the remaining investment in Expro International Group Holdings Limited (Expro), and oversee the orderly wind- down of the Funds. The Expro investment is to be managed within a newly-established special purpose entity on a basis that provides a materially reduced cost base and greater alignment with investors.

Banking solutions company Cennox has bought the European business of 3SI Security Systems (3SI), a specialist in asset protection and GPS tracking technology.
The acquisition follows Cennox’s purchase of Diebold UK & Ireland in June – a leading ATM maker – after receiving an additional investment from its equity partner BGF (Business Growth Fund).
The two acquisitions will allow Cennox to add further scale to its ATM manufacturing capacity as the business continues to focus on providing a complete ATM service, as well as adding a new range of security products through 3SI. This builds on Cennox’s current capabilities
Private equity investor Advent International is to acquire a significant ownership interest in Dixcy Textiles Pvt Ltd (Dixcy), an innerwear brand in India.
Dixcy’s Founder and Managing Director, Prem Prakash Sikka, will retain a stake in the company and continue as the Chairman following the completion of the transaction. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The transaction is Advent’s fourth investment in India since 2015 following its purchase of equity stakes in Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, QuEST Global Services and ASK Group.

The Irish Infrastructure Fund (IIF), managed by Irish Life Investment Managers and AMP Capital, is to acquire a 78 per cent stake in Ireland’s largest wholesale-only carrier, enet.
IIF will form a partnership with existing shareholder Granahan McCourt Capital, a worldwide investor in telecoms and media infrastructure. Granahan McCourt Capital’s founder, David C. McCourt, will continue to serve as Chairman and Granahan McCourt Capital will retain its shareholding in the business.
The partnership boosts enet’s plans to continue expanding its network and services at home in Ireland, whilst also paving the way to further grow the company’s pan-European telecoms
KKR is to partner with Korea’s LS in LS Automotive (LSA), an electrical auto parts maker for the global automotive industry. In addition, KKR will acquire LS Group affiliate LS Mtron’s (LSM) copper foil and flexible copper clad laminate business (CF/FCCL business).
Under the terms of the agreement, an affiliate of KKR and LS will together invest to create a new joint venture holding company (LSA JV) and acquire the business of LSA. LS will maintain the control of the LSA JV owning 53 per cent of the LSA JV’s voting shares and the LSA JV will remain as an
