Tripleseat, an event managements software and integrated payments solution for the hospitality industry, has secured a strategic growth investment from General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm. 

Vista Equity Partners, a private investment firm focused on investment in enterprise software, data and technology-enabled organisations, has sold its majority stake in Fusion Risk Management, a provider of cloud-based operational resilience, business continuity, and risk management software and services, to growth-oriented private equity firm Great Hill Parters. Financial terms of the deal, which will see Vista retain a significant minority investment along with Catalyst Investors and Level Equity Management, have not been disclosed. Fusion says the new majority investment will allow it to enhance its product innovation capabilities, while continuing to accelerate several attractive organic and inorganic growth opportunities. 

The value of global mergers and acquisitions in the renewable energy sector reached a record £118.7 billion in 2022 – a rise of 57% on the previous year, according to new research by business advisory firm Dow Schofield Watts. The value of venture capital investment into UK businesses continued to slump in the opening quarter of 2023 falling to £2.9 billion ($3.6bn) continuing the significant slowdown seen at the end of 2022, according to KPMG’s latest Venture Pulse report.
