Parabellum Investments, a private equity firm founded by international growth investor Rami Cassis, has acquired Vantage Consulting Group, a US-based manufacturing automation firm specialising in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
The deal significantly expands Parabellum’s existing portfolio company advanco making it one of the world’s largest independent pharmaceutical serialisation solutions providers.
The acquisition of comes at a time when serialisation and automation services have become increasingly important amid the growing threat of counterfeit medicines.
This deal enables advanco to support the manufacturing process throughout the entire supply chain, ranging from raw material handling to distribution and warehousing, while adhering to the latest geographical regulatory requirements.
advanco is a leading provider for Levels 2 to 5 Item Level Serialisation, while Vantage offers project management, engineering consulting, and professional technical services for all areas of the manufacturing process.
