KKR has led a $48 million Series C funding round in Privy, a digital trust provider in Indonesia. Existing investors MDI Ventures, GGV Capital and Telkomsel Mitra Inovasi, and new investors including Singtel Innov8, also participated in the round.

Vodafone Group Plc has agreed the partial sale of its mobile-phone masts business Vantage Towers to a consortium led by private equity firms Global Infrastructure Partners and KKR & Co in a deal that values the business at $16 billion.

Global software investment firm Thoma Bravo has led a $70 million expansion to TRM Labs’ Series B funding round, bringing the raise to $130 million in total.
Goldman Sachs and previous TRM investors including PayPal Ventures, Amex Ventures, Citi Ventures, and others, also participated in the round. The expansion follows TRM’s original $60 million Series B raise in December 2021 led by Tiger Global.
TRM’s blockchain intelligence solutions are utilised by law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, tax authorities and financial intelligence units worldwide to support investigations and analysis of crypto-related fraud and financial crime.

Private equity buyout firm Japan Industrial Partners has submitted a $15 billion bid to acquire Toshiba Corp, without having secured the backing of banks raising doubts over the viability of the proposed deal, according to a report by Reuters.
JIP’s proposal includes a commitment of almost half of the $15 million from a consortium of over ten investors including utility company Chubu Electric Power Co Inc and financial services group Orix Corp.

European private equity major Hg has raised $11 billion for its latest fund, Saturn 3, significantly ahead of its original $8.5 billion and making it the largest European buyout fund to close so far this ear, according to a report by Private Equity International.
