Scorechain, a provider of crypto risk-AML and compliance solutions, has closed a pre-Series A funding round of EUR2 million led by Tioga Capital (Luxembourg) and followed by Blockrocket (Germany) and CVVC Crypto Valley (Switzerland).
Global tax software provider Sovos is to acquire Digital Planet, which provides cloud compliance solutions for continuous transaction controls (CTCs), including e-invoicing, e-receipts, e-delivery note and e-ledger.  Upon completion of this acquisition, Sovos will expand its Istanbul-based product development center of excellence in support of a growing base of channel partners, small-and-medium-sized businesses (SMB), and large enterprise customers in Turkey and across the region.   Turkey is one of only a few countries outside of Latin America with mature e-invoicing and digital tax and regulatory mandates. K2 Management (K2M), a leading renewable energy engineering and project management consultancy, has worked as owner’s engineer on the final phase of a vast renewable energy project in Vietnam, which has incorporated the development of the country’s largest salt production facility, powered by wind and solar. Commercial operation has begun at the 22-turbine wind farm in Ninh Thuan, a joint venture between AC Energy and BIM Group. Completion of this particular onshore wind project is the final milestone of a significant technical challenge to build a wind farm in a salt production hub, covering an area of 2,500 hectares. The
British satellite scale-up Satellite Vu, founded in 2016, has successfully raised GBP15 million (USD20.7 million), as it looks to ramp up its plans to launch seven thermal and infrared imaging satellites into space that will be able to provide real-time data on how green every building on the planet is. Satellite Vu’s latest funding round of GBP15 million (USD20.7 million), which was oversubscribed, was led by the Seraphim Space Investment Trust Plc, the world’s first listed Space Tech Fund. Fremman has acquired a majority stake in Palex, a distributor of high value-added MedTech equipment and solutions, from Ergon Capital Partners IV SCSp (Ergon) and Corpfin Capital (Corpfin), who will both remain as minority shareholders in the business. Headquartered in Barcelona (Spain) and founded in 1955 by the Knuth family, Palex is the leading distributor of high value-added MedTech equipment and solutions for public and private hospitals and laboratories in Spain and Portugal. Alorsfaim, a Paris-based e-grocery company specialising in authentic and high-quality Asian food, has raised EUR4 million in seed funding, enabling the fast-growing start-up to continue its rapid expansion across the vast Asian community in France and Europe.  The round was led by iFly.vc with participation from Cathay Innovation and Goodwater Capital.
