Heyflow, the industry’s first no-code platform for interactive user experiences, has closed a USD6 million seed financing round led by Project A Ventures.
Heyflow solves the growing challenge companies face when trying to design high-converting user experiences, fast and cost-efficiently. Heyflow provides companies with a platform to build, design and integrate interactive clickflows – without the need to write a single line of code.
Additional investors include existing backers Atlantic Labs and Possible Ventures as well as several angel investors including Philipp Westermeyer (OMR).

The Midlands team of global investment bank GCA Altium has acted as advisor to Nichirei Holding Holland, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nichirei Logistics Group Inc on the acquisition of the cold storage division of Norish plc for a consideration of GBP65.7 million.
The specialist division currently operates from six strategically located sites, with key facilities located in Brierley Hill in the West Midlands and Wrexham in North Wales. It provides more than 47,500 racked, temperature-controlled pallet spaces in the UK.

finnCap Cavendish (Cavendish), part of financial advisory firm finnCap Group, has advised on the sale of Sentenial Group and its open banking brand Nuapay, an end-to-end payments platform specialised in account-to-account transactions, to EML Payments, an Australian-listed payments technology company for EUR108 million.
Through its regulated subsidiary Nuapay, Sentenial operates in the fast-growing European-open banking sector. The Group powers a complete set of payments for credit transfers, direct debits, instant payments and open banking. Over EUR44 billion worth of transactions is processed annually across 37 countries, with some EUR1/4 trillion processed to date.

Aviva, has announced a GBP10 million investment, and a five-year extension to its innovation partnership with Founders Factory to support new start-ups in the UK.
Founders Factory is a global venture studio and accelerator that was co-founded by Brent Hoberman and Henry Lane Fox in 2015. Since its inception, over 200 businesses have been created and accelerated through the Founders Factory and have gone on to raise more than GBP400 million in funding.

Prometheus Alternative Investments has raised USD5 million in an oversubscribed seed round.
The round was led by 8VC/Joe Lonsdale with participation from a diverse set of prominent investors including Kyle Bass (Hayman Capital), Gaingels, John Quinn (Quinn Emanuel), Gil Weisblum (family office of Barry Diller), Jared Rothman (family office of Dennis Washington), Thane Ritchie, Curtis Macnguyen (Inflection Capital & Ivory Capital), Kim Kolt (For Good Ventures), Alok Agrawal (Bloom Tree Capital), Chris Blum (Global Head of Equities at JP Morgan Wealth Management) and Khalid Malik (Meridiem Capital).

African Capital Alliance (ACA) has acquired a stake in Africa’s leading multi-brand QSR group, Food Concepts Plc (Food Concepts), from pan-African returns and impact-driven private equity firm DPI.
The deal will see the sale of 31 per cent of Food Concepts by DPI, a pan-African returns and impact-driven private equity firm with a strong track record of investing across the continent and USD2 billion AUM, to ACA. ACA is a pan-African alternative investment firm focused on managing investments across sub-Saharan Africa, with USD1.2 billion AUM. DPI will retain ownership of a majority stake in the Company.

Cybersecurity specialist BlueVoyant has acquired global professional services and big data solutions consultancy, Concanon, to provide the services and solutions to further empower Splunk customers worldwide and to maximise their investments in Splunk Cloud Platform.
With this acquisition, Concanon becomes a standalone but wholly-owned subsidiary of BlueVoyant. Concanon will coordinate services through BlueVoyant’s Modern SOC for Splunk® Cloud Platform, featuring 24/7 managed detection and response (MDR), and powered by BlueVoyant’s 24/7 cloud-based managed security operations center (SOC).
The acquisition will enable Concanon to expand their services to Splunk customers to optimize their investment and accelerate migration to the Splunk Cloud
After delivering more than 100,000 shipments in Germany, constructiontech startup Schüttflix has raised USD50 million of additional capital and is preparing to enter the Austrian, Polish and Czech markets in 2022.
The recently completed Series A financing round was led by European venture capital investor Draper Esprit. Also boosting their investments in this round are the founding team surrounding co-founding investor Thomas Hagedorn and CEO Christian Hülsewig, as well as HV Capital, Speedinvest and STRABAG.

O’Melveny has advised DL Chemical Co, a subsidiary of DL Holdings Co (formerly Daelim Industrial Co), on its merger agreement to acquire 100 per cent of Kraton Corporation (NYSE: KRA), a global sustainable producer of specialty polymers and high-value bio-based products, in an all-cash transaction with an equity value of approximately USD1.6 billion.
The company’s enterprise value was USD2.5 billion.
The agreement was announced on 27 September, 2021 and is subject to certain customary closing conditions, including the receipt of stockholder and regulatory approvals.

Moda Furnishings (Moda), a Manchester-based outdoor furniture retailer, acquired in September 2019 in an MBO led by CEO Jonny Brierley and COO Vallan McCarthy, backed by the Manchester office of mid-market private equity investor Endless, has agreed a new GBP17 million funding deal.
Moda has had another strong year of growth with revenues set to exceed GBP35 million in the year to the end of October, from GBP24.5 million in 2020 and GBP15.3 milllion in 2019.
The new funding package comes just 12 months after a GBP7 million deal with Secure Trust and sees the inventory and cashflow funding solution
