eSalesHub, a Yorkshire tech firm analysing big data using AI to optimise clients marketing spend, has secured a GBP1.65 million funding round from NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF) and managed by Maven Capital Partners (Maven).
The NPIF – Maven Equity Fund invested GBP1.35 million, alongside the GBP300,000 from the Maven VCTs.

‘Smart antenna’ designer Sofant Technologies has completed a follow-on fundraise of GBP740,000 in an oversubscribed funding round led by venture capital investor EMV Capital. The fundraise builds on last year’s GBP2.3 million pre-series A round for the Edinburgh-based 5G and satellite communications antenna developer.

UX-Republic joins Smile, a specialist in open source technologies known through its brands Neopixl, the mobile applications specialist, and SensioLabs, creator of the Symfony framework.

Ecommerce startup aisle 3 has completed a successful follow on funding round, raising GBP250,000 via Angel Investment Network.
Aiming to become ‘the Wikipedia of product search’ the business secured the funds in just six weeks with the company’s valuation more than doubling in the past five months. Full Sail IP Partners will acquire brands with untapped potential and build out their business through relevant, revenue generating licenses.

Law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has advised longstanding client Piper, a specialist investor in fast-growing consumer brands, on its GBP5 million investment into Wild Nutrition, a natural health supplements brand.
