Consolis, a European manufacturer of precast construction solutions, has received a binding offer for its French civil works division Bonna Sabla from EIM Capital, a private equity firm focused on the acquisition, transformation and development of companies of tomorrow in need of a new impetus.
The French civil works division Bonna Sabla consists of a portfolio of brands and activities that are leaders in their respective markets, including MPB, ABM, and a funeral business.

LSL has formed a joint venture with Pollen Street Capital (PSC) to establish Pivotal Growth, a vehicle seeking to become a leading mortgage broker powered by market leading technology, first class regulatory compliance and exemplary customer service.
It is planned that at least GBP200 million will be made available by way of equity and debt to fund acquisitions. MidCap Financial, a credit solutions firm focused on serving the middle market, has raised more than USD800 million of new equity from a diverse group of global investors that included Apollo clients, including Athene, as well as pensions, sovereign wealth funds and other leading institutions.
Proceeds from the raise will be used to fund business growth and for general corporate purposes. The month of March proved to be an extremely successful one for Newable Ventures, the UK’s leading early stage investment network, which deployed circa GBP2 million in six companies to round off a busy financial year, which also saw the group secure GBP10 million from British Business Investment’s Regional Angel Programme.
Closing these six deals in March saw a “record level” of angel participation according to Newable Ventures Director Sanjeev Gordhan who comments: “such strong levels of participation in the early stage investment market bodes well for the Fund and angel network moving forward”.

Rock Mountain Capital (RMC) has made a significant minority investment in Spark Orthodontics (Spark), a specialty orthodontics platform with 10 locations in rural/suburban Pennsylvania.
The investment will support the company’s growth strategy focused on acquiring additional practices and locations in Pennsylvania and in new markets. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
