Middle market private equity firm Gryphon Investors (Gryphon) has acquired Right Time Heating and Air Conditioning (Right Time) from Clairvest Group Inc, a Canadian private equity firm. Right Time’s management will remain with the Company and retain a significant equity stake. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in St Catharines, Ontario, Right Time is the largest independently owned residential HVAC services provider in Canada with a focus on preventative maintenance programs and repairs and replacements of HVAC units. Mayfair Equity Partners (Mayfair), a leading tech and consumer growth investor, has backed the management buy-out of Seraphine, a maternity and nursing brand, which values the company at around GBP50 million. Mayfair, along with management, has acquired the company from Bridgepoint Growth and entrepreneur founder Cécile Reinaud.
Launched in 2002 as a boutique store in Kensington, London, Seraphine has grown to become an international business selling into 127 countries around the world.

One Equity Partners (OEP), a middle market private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of VASS Consultoría de Sistemas (VASS), a European provider of digital transformation, cloud infrastructure and managed IT solutions. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.Headquartered in Madrid, Spain, VASS is focused on digitally transforming its customers’ value chain by implementing and servicing customer relationship management, enterprise resource applications, and providing technology infrastructure services. The Company has deep experience with big data, the implementation of robot process automation, intelligent business process management and similar technologies.

United Group, a provider of telecommunications services and media in Southeast Europe, is to acquire Bulgaria’s largest multi-platform media company Nova Broadcasting Group from Advance Media Group.The transaction is expected to close early in 2021 and is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
Nova comprises of 10 TV channels including national NOVA TV, the country’s largest online platform Net Info that reach on average 80 per cent of the Bulgarian population every month, as well as four radio stations.

Waterland Private Equity Investments is acquiring Priory Group, a provider of behavioural healthcare services in the UK. Waterland intends to combine Priory with MEDIAN, a German provider of rehabilitation, neurology and orthopaedic treatments and portfolio company of Waterland, to create a leading European rehabilitation and mental health services provider.
The transaction is expected to complete in January 2021.
MEDIAN operates 120 clinics and facilities with 18,500 beds and places across Germany. Global investment manager AMP Capital has established a 50/50 partnership with Sterlite Power Transmission Limited (Sterlite Power) for the development of energy transmission projects in India. This marks the first investment in India for AMP Capital’s global infrastructure equity strategy.
AMP Capital and Sterlite Power will each invest an initial amount of approximately USD150 million in the development of four transmission projects, and have put in place debt financing, which represents a total capital outlay of around USD1 billion.
