Supply chain solutions proviser DSV has completed its acquisition of UTi Worldwide Inc.
Jens Bjørn Andersen, CEO of DSV, says: “We are proud to welcome customers and employees of UTi to DSV. The transaction makes DSV the fourth largest freight forwarder in the world by adding approximately 50 per cent to the company’s existing revenue. In addition, the new DSV has a more diversified geography and business mix.
DSV is now the world's 6th and 7th largest operator within ocean and air freight, respectively and its road freight and distribution activities now cover Europe, North America, Africa and Asia.
