Specialist business advisory firm FRP has joined Eight International, a global advisory organisation, in a move aimed at strengthening its international presence.
Founded in 2016, Eight International was set up to meet a growing demand for dedicated financial and operational support for businesses with an international footprint. It was founded by a group of senior advisors, all of whom had experience working for a Big Four firm, and has since grown to become a network of more than 3,000 consultants that operate across five continents and 30 jurisdictions worldwide.
Today, through its member organisations, Eight International helps corporate clients, businesses, private equity funds and leading banks navigate challenges across transactions, restructuring and transformation. This includes services such as financial due diligence, independent business reviews, refinancing and restructuring, operational turnaround plans, and support both pre- and post-transaction.
As Eight International’s newest member organisation, FRP will be able to access a network of highly experienced advisers with on-the-ground expertise to support its clients on international matters. In addition, it will support other member firms’ clients on UK matters through its integrated advisory approach.
Geoff Rowley, CEO of FRP, says: “Eight International is a high quality, global advisory organisation with a growing reputation and increasing reach. We share many of the same values, have a culture closely aligned to other member firms and our services are highly complementary to those within the wider network. We’re looking forward to becoming an active member of Eight International, helping to better support our clients on international matters while contributing to the growth and development of the Eight International network as it becomes a leading global independent business advisory organisation.”
Pascal Raidron, President of Eight International, adds: “We launched Eight International five years ago because we wanted to meet the growing demand of investment funds and corporates for independent, dedicated financial and operational support in their international operations. Today this demand is even greater as the world seems to have fewer boundaries, even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are extremely pleased that FRP, a company with such a position in the market, that is trusted by its clients and that fully shares our vision and approach, joins our global family and will contribute to our development.”
Eight International’s member organisations include Eight Advisory, JP Weber, Sincerius, New Deal Advisors, and FCG Partners. With the addition of FRP, Eight International has grown to include 160 founding members’ partners and 3,600 consultants globally.
