FTI Consulting has appointed Herman Klein Wassink as a senior advisor to the Global Insurance Services practice.
The hire expands the firm’s insurance M&A and strategic advisory services in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Based in London, Klein Wassink will work closely with the firm’s insurance experts to provide sector-led advice to clients in the (re)insurance market.
Klein Wassink has more than 25 years’ experience as a C-suite advisor, financier, counterparty and investor in the financial services sector. In addition to serving in a variety of senior roles at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, Klein Wassink was a Senior Advisor to Athora, Apollo’s European Life Insurance platform, and head of insurance at global private markets firm Partners Group.
