CVC Growth Partners and GRO will partner with Omada’s management team to further accelerate Omada’s product innovation, grow its partner network in North America and Europe, enhance sales and marketing efforts, as well as continue expanding its strong position in Europe and building greater depth in the North American market.

Synamedia (formerly Cisco’s Service Provider Video Software Solutions business), is a leading video software solutions provider serving Cable, Telecom, Over-the-Top and Direct-to-Home operators. The business consists of NDS, which provides smartcards and software solutions for set top boxes, and IVP (Infinite Video Platform), which provides cloud access and video processing offerings.

Gide has advised the Icicle group, a high-end Chinese fashion brand, on its buy-out of the luxury label Carven through its subsidiary in Paris.
As part of the deal, Icicle is acquiring the design house, its remaining four stores in France, and all employees. The eco-friendly fashion company, based in Shanghai, out-bid seven other contenders for the struggling French label, marking its third major investment in France after opening a design centre in 2013 and acquiring real estate last year for its upcoming flagship store in Paris.

Sentinel Capital Partners (Sentinel), a private equity firm that invests in promising companies in the lower mid-market, has acquired Holley Performance Products (Holley), a specialist in branded performance products for automotive enthusiasts.
Sentinel acquired Holley from Lincolnshire Management, Inc. and will combine Holley with Driven Performance Brands (Driven), a platform acquired by Sentinel in 2015. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Glennmont Partners is to acquire Project Goudelancourt, a 16.8 MW wind farm located in Northern France. The wind farm was developed and is currently under construction by Enertrag, a leading German developer that has installed over 660 wind turbines.
The wind farm is powered by seven Nordex N117 turbines and has secured a long-term operation and maintenance agreement with a reputable counterparty. This latest acquisition enhances Covercraft’s world-leading pattern library and expands the company’s assortment of custom-fit vehicle protection products.

Floreat has backed two privately-owned cyber security companies as part of its growth strategy in the private equity market.
Floreat Principal Investing, headed up by Jeff Sinclair, has invested in artificial intelligence business Senseon, and intelligent automation services provider Encompass, with the two privately held businesses offering one of the most attractive routes to access this growing area.

Novo Seeds’ portfolio company Galecto Biotech AB (Galecto), a developer of galectin modulators for the treatment of severe diseases, including fibrosis and cancer, has successfully closed a EUR79 million series C financing round.
