Gide has advised Legrand on its purchase of Shenzhen Clever Electronic Co, a Chinese specialist in intelligent PDUs4 for data centres. Shenzhen Clever Electronic Co rounds out Legrand’s product offerings in a high added-value segment, where it is already number one in the United States with its Raritan and Server Technology brands.   Gide advised Legrand on all aspects of the project, including legal due diligence, structuring, and negotiation and drafting of the transaction documents.   The Gide team was headed by partner David Boitout, working with Wang Zengyan and Li Jing, associates.    
Ecura Helse og Omsorg (Ecura), a portfolio company of Longship Fund I, has made two new add-on acquisitions – Asor Helse and Accurate Care. Asor Helse is a provider of home care and health services in the Norwegian market, with a focus on elderly care, personal assistance to disabled, and home health care. Accurate Care provides temporary staff for hire and qualified health personnel for permanent employment to the Norwegian health and care market. Blue Ox Healthcare Partners (Blue Ox), an investment firm focused on providing growth capital to healthcare companies in the middle market, has led a USD52 million Series E investment in Epic Sciences (Epic), a diagnostics company developing solutions to personalise and advance cancer treatment and management. White Oak Global Advisors has held the close of the White Oak Yield Spectrum Fund to outside investors, with approximately USD2.1 billion of total commitments, exceeding the USD1.75 billion fundraising target. White Oak’s previous flagship fund, the White Oak Summit Fund, closed with approximately USD1.3 billion of commitments in March 2016.   The capital for the White Oak Yield Spectrum Fund was raised from a diversified group of institutional investors worldwide. High Road Capital Partners’ portfolio company U-C Coatings has completed the acquisition of Contechem. The deal marks High Road’s 50th transaction. The two companies provide complementary products for protecting freshly cut lumber and logs. Based in Portland, Oregon, Contechem is a leading manufacturer of wood protection products. Mid-market private equity investor LDC has completed the sale of fume extraction and filtration specialist BOFA International (BOFA) to NYSE-listed Donaldson Company, a worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts.
