Global investment manager AMP Capital has entered into a 50/50 partnership with Invenergy Clean Power LLC (“ICP”) to invest in Invenergy’s operating and development portfolio of natural gas-fired power generation facilities across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Antin Infrastructure Partners (Antin), an independent private equity firm focused on infrastructure investments, is to acquire Idex, an independent energy infrastructure and energy services company in France, from Cube Infrastructure Managers (Cube). Founded in 1963 and headquartered near Paris, Idex is an integrated operator of energy infrastructure assets, operating 41 district heating and cooling networks (including the Paris La Défense network), 13 energy-from-waste facilities and a large portfolio of energy services contracts for a wide variety of counterparties. International law firm CMS has advised UK gaming company The Rank Group (Rank) on the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of QSB Gaming Limited, owner of YoBingo.es, a Spanish digital bingo business, for up to EUR52 million. The acquisition of the Yobingo Group expands Rank’s digital footprint in Spain and provides it with a proprietary platform and content for the Spanish market with strong potential to support other regulated markets. Nexxus has sold portfolio company Maak Arca Holding, a platform of construction and decoration businesses in Mexico, to a group of Mexican private investors. The divestment was made through the spin-off and sale of the subsidiaries Mármoles Arca and Madarca, companies specialised in the distribution and sale of natural stones and wood, respectively.   Nexxus (through Nexxus Capital Private Equity Fund V, LP and Fideicomiso Nexxus IV), remains invested in a newly created holding company, Vidrios y Fachadas Holding, which consolidates Vitrocanceles and Vitrogenera, companies specialised in the production, distribution and installation of glass for facades and aluminium window frames.
Arlington Capital Partners has agreed to sell Polaris Alpha, a provider of mission solutions for complex defence, intelligence, and security customers, as well as to other US federal government customers, to Parsons.
