Boston-based Audax Private Equity has acquired Mobileum, a provider of roaming and big data analytics solutions to telecoms companies.
Previously known as Roamware, Mobileum was founded in 2001 and has since sold its roaming and analytics solutions to over 600 mobile operator customers worldwide.
In 2014, Mobileum added a suite of analytic-driven solutions to its product portfolio to broaden its reach and value outside of roaming.
Mobileum’s entire leadership and management team will remain with the organisation.

A fund managed by BlackRock Real Assets has completed the acquisition of a 100 per cent interest in an operational wind project in the UK from innogy.
The 18-megawatt Batsworthy Cross wind farm is located in Devon and is now fully operational.
The project benefits from Senvion technology with a long-term Operations & Maintenance (O&M) agreement in place. REG Power Management has been appointed to undertake the operational management of the project.

Asset management firm Barings has acted as co-lead arranger of a unitranche facility to support Bridgepoint Development Capital's acquisition of Inspiring Learning.
Barings' role in the buyout marks the third transaction for the former European private finance group of Babson Capital Management since Babson consolidated its operations with the former Baring Asset Management and rebranded the new firm under the Barings name in September 2016.
Inspiring Learning is a UK provider of residential learning activities and travel programmes for school-aged young people, operating 10 residential activity centres in the UK and France.

IK Investment Partners’ IK VIII Fund is to acquire ZytoService Group, a compounder of pharmaceuticals for patient-individualised infusions, from the founders and Capiton.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2002, ZytoService is based in Hamburg, where it runs a compounding facility.

All of NatWest’s business and commercial customers can now access an expanded panel of alternative lenders to which they can be formally referred if borrowing directly from the bank is not possible.
The panel, called Capital Connections, builds on NatWest’s existing partnerships to signpost small business customers to alternative sources of finance.
The panel now enters its final full launch phase, following a pilot which introduced the wider panel of all five lenders to commercial customers with a turnover of up to GBP25 million in South West England, Wales and Scotland earlier this year.

JAC Products, a designer, manufacturer and global supplier of original equipment roof racks, cargo management systems, running boards and step rails to equipment vehicle manufacturers, has been acquired by Tulsa-based private equity fund Argonaut Private Equity.
The sale was effective 28 October 2016.
JAC Products, which has over 1,500 employees globally, was previously owned by Wynnchurch Capital. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

GSO Capital Partners, the credit division of Blackstone, has held the final closing of its third mezzanine fund, GSO Capital Opportunities Fund III, at its hard cap of USD6.5 billion.
GSO will seek to invest the fund across a broad range of sectors and geographies, with a particular focus on the US and Europe.
