Capstone has advised Green Dot, a telecommunications provider headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago, on its deal to sell a 51 per cent stake to One Caribbean Media.
The acquisition will allow Green Dot to accelerate subscriber growth and continue expanding into new markets.
Green Dot, headquartered in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, is a licensed telecommunications operator offering wireless ISP and subscription TV services to residential and business customers in Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, and Suriname.

Equistone Partners-backed Travel Counsellors, an independent provider of bespoke leisure and corporate travel, has seen a 22 per cent rise in turnover over the last 12 months.

Earlybird Venture Capital has held the first closing of its Earlybird Health Tech Fund.
Headquartered in North Rhine-Westphalia, the fund will invest primarily in the field of medical technology across Europe and has a target size of EUR100 million to EUR120 million.
The fund’s investors include NRW.BANK, the Generali Insurance Group, the German household and medical products manufacturer Miele, as well as the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy with a share of the federally administered special fund of the European Recovery Program, the so-called ERP Fund.

PNC Bank has closed two credit packages totalling nearly USD79.5 million for Rental Equipment Investment Company (REIC), an equipment rental company based in Florida, and Total Plastics Inc (TPI), a distributor and fabricator of plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and tape, headquartered in Michigan.
Both companies will use the funds, in part, to finance acquisitions.
REIC is a rental equipment company formed from the completion of the following acquisitions: Midway Rental (Kalispell, Montana), Reliable Equipment Rental (Wheatland, Wyoming), Hillside Rental (Greeley, Colorado) and Pro Rentals and Sales, Inc. (Idaho Falls, Idaho).
PNC provided a USD34 million senior secured
Healthcare-focused private equity firm Shore Capital Partners has sold Fast Pace Urgent Care, a provider of urgent care services throughout rural Tennessee and Kentucky, to Revelstoke Capital Partners.
In December 2012, Shore Capital partnered with Fast Pace founders, Stan Bevis and Reams Powers, to help grow their initial seven urgent care locations.
Shore Capital and Fast Pace together executed an accelerated growth plan and expanded the business from seven to 36 clinics in approximately three and a half years.
The growth came primarily through de novo expansion as the company opened 26 new locations and acquired three locations.

Eric Sprott has agreed to acquire 30 million common shares of Redstar Gold in part through a private placement of up to 41 million shares at CAD0.10.
Redstar Gold has filed for the financing, which is a non-brokered equity private placement.
The financing will be composed of two tranches. The first tranche of 20.4 million shares at CAD0.10 is expected to close this week. In the second tranche, the company will issue up to 20.6 million shares at CAD0.10, or CAD2.06 million. The full financing is expected to close on, or before, 31 August 2016. Private equity firm Thoma Bravo has completed its acquisition of visual analytics software specialist Qlik.
Under the terms of the merger agreement, Qlik shareholders are entitled to receive USD30.50 in cash for each share of Qlik common stock they hold.
The transaction was announced on 2 June 2016 and received approval from Qlik shareholders on 17 August 2016. As a result of the completion of the acquisition, shares of Qlik common stock were removed from listing on The Nasdaq Stock Market, with trading in Qlik shares suspended prior to the opening of business today.
