Private equity platform TPG Capital is to acquire a majority interest in Transporeon from The Riverside Company and other shareholders. The transaction is expected to close in Q3 and is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval. Transporeon offers various connectivity-focused applications for the different stages of freight execution, providing shippers and carriers with meaningful cost savings, productivity gains, and service-level improvements by enabling them to communicate, collaborate, and transact efficiently. RightCapital, a financial planning platform for registered investment advisors and independent broker-dealers, has secured USD1 million in a seed capital fund raise led by Camellia Venture Capital with other individual strategic investors also participating. BMO Financial Group has completed the acquisition of the business of M&A advisory firm Greene Holcomb Fisher (GHF). The transaction complements BMO Capital Markets' existing M&A practice by significantly increasing BMO's number of global M&A professionals. In the United States, the transaction expands and deepens BMO's footprint, raising deal flow and increasing the focus on key strategic industries ranging from Industrials to Food, Consumer & Retail, Healthcare, Technology, Business & Services and Energy. JZ Capital Partners Ltd (JZCP), the London listed fund that invests in US and European micro-cap companies and US real estate, is to sell its equity interest in Fidor Bank AG (Fidor) to Groupe BPCE, the second largest banking group in France. JZCP first invested in Fidor in August 2013 through its EuroMicrocap Fund 2010, L.P. and has since worked with the senior management team, including Matthias Kröner, CEO, and Wolfgang Strobel, CFO, to grow and develop the business. The latest issue of Beauhurst’s The Deal shows that deal numbers in Britain’s start-ups and high growth companies in the first half of 2016 have fallen over 20 per cent compared to the second half of 2015.  The firm writes that it appears that the EU referendum and its impact on investor confidence has had a significant effect in the second quarter of this year. JTC Cayman acquisition bolsters fund administration capabilities
Institutional and private client service provider JTC has acquired Arcange REIM in Luxembourg, enabling it to launch a new AIFM management company (ManCo) business as it continues to enhance its range of European alternative fund services. The acquisition of Arcange REIM, which was one of the first Luxembourg based independent management companies to comply with the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), was completed on 6 July following approval from the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF).   The new ManCo is called Global AIFM Solutions.
