A2D Funding II plc has raised GBP150m via its recent issuance of AA-rated retail-eligible bonds.
The 4.50 per cent unsecured sterling bonds, due 2026, are guaranteed by A2Dominion Housing Group, one of the largest social housing providers in London and the south east of England.
The proceeds of the issue will be lent to members of the A2Dominion Group, which comprises A2Dominion and its subsidiaries.
Cash from the bond issue, which closed after one day due to high demand, will be used to fund A2Dominion’s development programme and further grow its portfolio, which includes social housing, private
William Grant & Sons has acquired the Drambuie Liqueur Company, owner the Drambuie whisky liqueur brand.
William Grant & Sons’ brands include Glenfiddich and The Balvenie single malt Scotch whiskies, Tullamore DEW Irish whiskey, Grant’s blended Scotch whisky, Hendrick’s gin and Sailor Jerry spiced rum.

Less than a year after launching the fundraising, Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners has held the final closing of its new FPCI, Winch Capital 3, at EUR300m, well over the initial target.
This is the largest fundraising ever for a Winch Capital fund.

Arma Partners acted as exclusive financial advisor to The Logic Group and Susquehanna Growth Equity, a US-based private equity fund, on the sale of the company to Barclaycard.
The Logic Group is a specialist provider of managed payments services and mobile loyalty schemes across Europe.
The company also provides omni-channel payments solutions and security.
Peak Ventures has closed on a USD23 million venture capital fund aimed at seed-stage start-ups in Utah and the Mountain West.
The fund will invest initial amounts into early stage companies ranging from USD100,000 to USD1 million. The fund was raised from accredited international and domestic investors.

FMC Corporation is to acquire Cheminova A/S, a wholly owned subsidiary of Auriga Industries.
Cheminova is a multinational crop protection company based in Denmark.
FMC will fund the all-cash acquisition through a mixture of debt and existing cash reserves. The transaction is expected to close in early 2015 and will be accretive to adjusted earnings in the first full year following the acquisition.

Nordic Capital Fund VI is to sell its majority shareholding in Nefab Packaging to the Nordgren/Pihl family, the original founders and currently co-owners of Nefab.
Since 2007, the company has grown its revenue and expanded its international presence. The strategy will remain the same under new ownership.

CMS Hasche Sigle has advised the Canadian power producer Northland Power on the acquisition of an 85 per cent majority in the offshore wind parks Nordsee One, Nordsee Two and "Nordsee Three" from the German utility RWE's daughter company RWEI Innogy.
The offshore wind farm "Nordsee One" is located approximately 40 kilometers north of the German island of Juist in the German Exclusive Economic Zone.
