Napier Park Global Capital’s financial partners team has completed the initial investment of the Napier Park Railcar Lease Fund, a USD370 million specialised, single-purpose private equity fund. ResponseTap, a specialist in call tracking and analytics, has secured GBP4m of Series B funding including GBP2.5m from Beringea, which manages the ProVen Venture Capital Trusts, and GBP1.5m from Eden Ventures. ResponseTap will use this investment to accelerate expansion in the US and to continue support for its UK development team.

RiverVest Venture Partners has sold portfolio company Lumena Pharmaceuticals to Dublin-based Shire Plc in a transaction with an upfront payment of USD260 million in cash.
