Altice Finco SA intends to launch an offering of USD400m in aggregate principal amount of senior notes and its subsidiary Altice Financing SA intends to launch an offering of USD1,285m equivalent in aggregate principal amount of dollar and euro senior secured notes.
Proceeds of the notes are expected to be used to finance its previously announced acquisition of 88 per cent of Tricom S.A. and Global Interlinks, which Altice entered into an agreement to acquire on 31 October, and its previously announced acquisition of a majority ownership in Orange Dominicana (ODO), which Altice entered into an agreement to acquire on 26
SMT Fund Services (Ireland) Limited has appointed Kii Hub to produce and deliver Key Investor Information Documents (KIIDs) for its established platform of UCITS funds.
This extends the relationship that already exists with SuMi TRUST Global Asset Services, as Kii Hub has been producing KIIDs for the funds managed by SuMi TRUST’s UK ACD company, SMT Fund Services (UK) Limited, since 2012.
SuMi TRUST will be using Kii Hub’s full bureau service, which includes drafting, production, hosting and translation of all their KIIDs.

Alinda Capital Partners, the American-based infrastructure investment firm, has agreed to acquire 100 per cent of Emitel, a television and radio broadcast infrastructure provider in Poland.
Alinda is acquiring Emitel from Montagu Private Equity. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Emitel broadcasts television and radio signals nationwide under long-term contracts with television and radio channels, including the government-owned TV and radio channels. Emitel is the sole broadcaster of digital terrestrial television signals in Poland, and is leading the introduction of digital radio. The company owns 377 towers in Poland.

Dublin-based renewable energy group Gaelectric has agreed in excess of EUR90m in additional financing for its business.
Gaelectric, with its team of 50 employees, is active in the development and operation of wind and energy storage projects in Ireland, the US and the UK.
BlueBay Ireland Corporate Credit, a vehicle established by BlueBay Asset Management with substantial investment from the National Pensions Reserve Fund of Ireland to provide loans to larger SMEs and mid-sized corporates, is providing EUR30m in business development and expansion funding, which will be available to support the growth of all aspects of Gaelectric's business.
Clairvest Group has made a USD28.5m investment in Winters Bros Waste Systems of CT, its fourth investment in the waste management industry.
Winters Bros of CT is a privately-owned, regional solid waste collection, recycling and disposal company based in Danbury, Connecticut. The company provides residential, commercial and industrial waste and recycling collection services in western and south-western Connecticut as well as in Westchester County and Putnam County in New York.
Winters Bros. of CT also operates several transfer stations and a single stream recycling facility.
Clairvest's portion of the investment is USD7.6m.

Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) targeting companies in Western Europe in November rose in terms of aggregate deal value with an eight per cent increase recorded against a 23 per cent decline by volume.
There were 1,537 deals worth a combined EUR49,761m in November, compared to 2,007 transactions valued at EUR46,277m in October, according to information collected by the M&A database Zephyr.
The picture is less positive in a year-on-year comparison as volume was down on 12 months ago (November 2012: 1,911). Value also failed to reach the EUR60,386m recorded in November 2012.
Private equity and venture capital investments
21 Partners has sold Almaviva Santé, a network of private clinics in the Marseille region, to a consortium of private equity investors including GIMV and UI Gestion.
Founded in 2007 by 21 Partners and CEO entrepreneur Bruno Marie, Almaviva Santé is composed of seven clinics, all top-rated in the south of France.
The company has leading practices in the fields of orthopaedic and ophthalmic surgery.
21 Partners has supported Almaviva Santé in the structuring of its platform to improve efficiency through the development of a group quality standard policy.
With a staff of over 600 practitioners and
KKR is to acquire a minority stake in Gland Pharma, an Indian pure-play generic injectable pharmaceutical products company, for approximately USD200m.
This includes KKR acquiring the entire stake held by Evolvence India Life Sciences Fund (EILSF), an existing private equity investor in Gland Pharma.
Established in 1978 and based in Hyderabad, Gland Pharma develops and manufactures generic injectables primarily for the US market and also for India and other semi-regulated markets. In 2003, Gland Pharma was the first company in India to get US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for pharmaceutical liquid injectable products. Gland Pharma has also
Odyssey Investment Partners has completed the sale of its portfolio company One Call Care Management to funds advised by Apax Partners.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Based in Jacksonville, Florida, One Call is a provider of specialised cost containment services to the workers' compensation industry.
In December 2009, Odyssey acquired One Call Medical which was merged with MSC Care Management in August 2012 to form One Call Care Management. Over the last four years, the company has grown both organically and through acquisitions.
