The Jordan Company, a middle-market private equity firm investing primarily in North American businesses, has held the  final close of The Resolute Fund V, (Resolute V), with approximately USD5 billion in capital commitments from a diverse group of limited partners including US public pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, multinational corporations, insurance companies, fund of funds, endowments, foundations, family offices and other investors, making it the largest fund raised in the firm’s history.  The fund closed above its hard cap of USD4.5 billion and was oversubscribed.   Resolute V enhances the Firm’s capacity to invest in middle-market businesses across TJC’s four
SFC Capital and FINTECH Circle are partnering to find the next top 10-20 fintech startups or scaleups. SFC Capital has assigned GBP1.5 million in funds which will be distributed among the selected startups. The final list of startups will be revealed by mid April 2022. Pemberton, a European private debt manager, is to provide a refinancing package to support growth trajectory of PLIXXENT, a German headquartered polyurethane systems business. The firm was carved out from listed business Covestro AG in 2019, and is now majority owned by alternative investment firm HIG Capital. Following two acquisitions, PLIXXENT now has six production sites across Europe and its polyurethane systems are used in both, flexible and rigid foam applications across a variety of industries including energy, insulation, footwear, appliances, construction, furniture and transportation.

Paylend, a Kenyan FinTech startup focused on providing access to finance and digitising MSMEs in Kenya, has raised USD2 million in seed investment from Next Chymia Consulting HK Limited, an Asian based company that provides blockchain applications, consultancy services and training to global entities. Korify Capital has launched its first venture fund, Korify Capital Fund ONE, which is targeting USD100 million for breakthrough biotech investments with a focus on longevity and mental health. Korify’s focus is to invest in companies that give people the opportunity to live longer, healthier, and happier lives by both preventing and treating age-related diseases and mental illnesses. Bielenda Kosmetyki Naturalne, a portfolio company of Innova Capital, is to acquire SHE Cosmetics – a Polish cosmetics company specialising in hand and foot care products.  Bielenda Kosmetyki Naturalne, established in 1990, is a major player in the cosmetics market in Poland. In January 2021, the company expanded its portfolio by adding Soraya and Dermika brands, which it acquired with the support of Innova Capital. In addition to Bielenda and Bielenda Professional brands, the group’s portfolio also includes BodyBoom, FaceBoom, and BabyBoom. 
Diversis Capital Management, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm focused on investing in software and technology-enabled services organisations, has made a significant growth investment in SalesRabbit, a specialist in field sales software. Founded in 2013, SalesRabbit has been enabling field sales organisations with end-to-end native mobile and web-based software. Its complete sales enablement platform aims to solve the needs of outside sales organisations at every step of the sales process from lead to close and delivers solutions that include team management, lead management, lead conversion, presentations, proposals, forms and contracts. 
Software investor Thoma Bravo has led a USD110 million Series C funding round in Figment, one of the world’s largest blockchain infrastructure and services providers, at a USD1.4 billion post-money valuation.  Counterpoint Global (Morgan Stanley), Binance Labs, Mirae Asset, ParaFi Capital, Avon Ventures, a venture capital fund affiliated with FMR LLC, the parent company of Fidelity Investments, Bitstamp, CMS Holdings, Two Sigma, B Capital Group, Franklin Templeton, DTCP, and StarkWare, also particpated.
