KKR is to acquire a majority stake in Probe CX alongside existing management from Quadrant Private Equity, Five V Capital, Rodney Kagan and other shareholders of the company.
The investment will be used to further fuel Probe’s robust growth and strengthen its digital capabilities to enhance its service offering to customers.

SWEN Capital Partners, a provider of unlisted sustainable investment solutions, has, through the SWEN Impact Fund for Transition (SWIFT), invested in Lhyfe, a pioneer and pure player in renewable green hydrogen.
It is SWEN’s first deal in hydrogen. Since its creation in 2019, SWIFT has mostly targeted projects related to methanisation in renewable gas stations (130 to 150 methanation units supported).
SWEN Capital Partners participated in Lhyfe second funds series, which allowed the company to secure 50 million euros from SWEN Capital Partners and Banque des Territoires onboard alongside original investors. The announcement comes as Lhyfe inaugurated on Thursday September
SEEIT, the first UK listed investment company of its kind to invest exclusively in the energy efficiency sector, has acquired the remaining 35 per cent equity interest that it did not already own in Primary Energy, a portfolio of recycled energy and cogeneration projects servicing the steel industry, located in Indiana, USA.
The interest was acquired from a consortium led by Fortistar LLC for a cash consideration of approximately USD92 million. The acquisition was identified as part of SEEIT’s near term pipeline in its recent equity issue.

SecZetta, a provider of third-party identity risk solutions, today announced an oversubscribed USD20.5 million Series B fundraising round.
The round was led by SYN Ventures, along with new investor MassMutual Ventures. The round also included participation from existing investors ClearSky and Rally Ventures, which strengthened their investments in SecZetta.

Capria Ventures, a global investor with the largest network of fund managers in emerging markets, termed the Global South, has released its annual impact report. According to the report, Capria and its affiliated network of funds have invested USD92.1 million as of December 2020, impacting 16.5 million lives across regions despite the pandemic-induced setbacks.

Ropes & Gray has advised Acceleron in its USD11.5 billion sale to Merck & Co. This is one of Merck’s biggest acquisitions and diversifies the pharmaceutical company’s pipeline by adding Acceleron’s drugs to target rare diseases. The transaction was announced on 30 September.
Bernhard Capital Partners Management, a services and infrastructure-focused private equity management firm, is to acquire RailWorks Corp (RailWorks), a North American rail infrastructure solutions provider, from Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021, subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of regulatory approvals.
