FSN Capital VI (FSNC) has acquired a majority share in Adragos Pharma Group (Adragos), a B2B contract developer and manufacturer (CDMO) for pharmaceuticals.  The current owner, Prange Group (PG), remains invested. The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction. Adragos, with production sites in Livron (France), Leipzig (Germany) and Toride (Japan) offers end-to-end services for a broad range of pharmaceutical products, in particular injectables and semi-solid forms. A company controlled by the Permira funds has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Engel & Völkers – an international property brokerage platform.  Following the transaction, the Völkers family and part of the management team will retain almost 40 per cent of the shares in the company. Founder Christian Völkers will become Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Ritchie Bros, a global asset management, disposition, and services company, is to acquire European plant and machinery auction house, Euro Auctions, for an enterprise value of GBP775 million (approximately USD1.08 billion). Founded in 1998, Euro Auctions conducts unreserved heavy equipment auctions with onsite and online bidding under the brands Euro Auctions and Yoder & Frey, with 200-plus employees in 14 countries. In 2020 the company conducted 60 auctions, selling close to 90,000 items for GBP484-plus million across its nine locations in the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Germany, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, and the United States. Phillips 66 has made an investment in Seeq, a developer of software applications for analysing and sharing insights on process manufacturing data. The investment is through the Altira Group, a venture capital firm that counts Seeq as one of its portfolio companies. It is the first investment by Phillips 66’s Digital Ventures organisation, which is part of the AdvantEdge66 program launched by the company to drive digital transformation and innovation. “Data can yield incredible value and insights when properly gathered and refined through advanced analytics,” said Zhanna Golodryga, Senior Vice President and Chief Digital and Administrative Officer for Phillips 66.
Perusa Partners Fund 2 portfolio company PROLED GROUP (PROLED), a specialist in the design, manufacturing and distribution of LED lighting solutions and portfolio, has acquired a majority stake in German premium lighting provider mawa design Licht- und Wohnideen (mawa).
Mid-market private equity investor LDC has backed the management buyout (MBO) of Texecom, the UK’s leading manufacturer of electronic security products and services, from FTSE 100-listed technology group Halma plc. Texecom manufactures and supplies intruder detection and mass notification solutions to the global commercial, industrial and high-end residential markets protecting millions of properties around the world. Keensight Capital, a private equity manager dedicated to pan-European Growth Buyout investments, has entered into an agreement to sell its stake in Demetra Holding (Demetra) to Astorg.
