Foresight Group Holdings Limited (Foresight), an infrastructure and private equity manager, announces a further interim close for Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners (FEIP), a sustainability-led energy infrastructure fund investing predominantly in Europe, having secured total commitments of cEUR787 million.
Including co-investments to date of EUR170 million, this represents a total capital pool of cEUR957 million for Foresight’s energy transition strategy.
The close sees a total of cEUR71 million of new commitments from investors since the interim close announced in June 2021. The maximum fund size permitted has been increased following consent from investors and the final close will now
EmergeVest, a Hong Kong-based growth-oriented private equity investment group, has invested in Lucy, a neobank focused on women entrepreneurs, through seed funding. In addition, Dr Jessica Bruser of EmergeVest has joined Lucy’s board of directors.
Lucy will use the proceeds of this funding round to invest in its tech platform, expand its Singapore-based team and prepare for an imminent launch of its inaugural product, before expanding regionally through strategic partnerships.

Open banking platform Snoop has secured GBP15 million in Series A funding from leading American investment management firm Paulson & Co Inc (Paulson), giving the business a post-money valuation of GBP47 million.
The money management app helps people spend, save and live smarter through personalised money-saving insights, and aims to save the average user GBP1,500 per year. This most recent round of fundraising for the company follows a GBP10 million round in December 2020 (Europe’s second largest crowdfund that year).

Mayfair Equity Partners (Mayfair), a tech and consumer growth investor, has completed an investment in British haircare brand Tangle Teezer. Mayfair will hold a majority stake in the business. Additional deal terms have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2007 by Shaun Pulfrey, Tangle Teezer produces a range of innovative detangling, blow-drying and styling hairbrushes famous for their unique teeth technology. The business has grown to become a world-renowned brand, recognised for creating the detangling haircare category, and swiftly becoming an essential haircare companion to both consumers and haircare professionals. Shaun will remain a minority shareholder in the business.

Legend Capital has participated a biological computing platform enterprise BioMap’s USD100 million Series A funding round.
The funds will be used to for R&D and talent recruitment.
BioMap is positioned as an innovative medicine R&D platform driven by biological computing engine. It was co-founded by Robin Li in November 2020 and he currently serves as the Chairman. Through advanced computing and biotechnology, BioMap draws maps on disease targets and drug design to realize the Global First-in-class original drugs. In the future, BioMap will also focus on the field of immune mechanism of tumors, autoimmune diseases and fibrotic diseases.

Aliter Capital (Aliter), a private equity buy and build specialist in the support services sector, is pleased to announce that it has agreed the sale of its shareholding in North Group SP (North) to Livingbridge.
