Ardian has arranged a unitranche facility with the participation of a wholly-owned subsidiary division of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), to support the investment of Naxicap Partners in Lagarrigue, a global specialist in large scale external orthopaedic devices for the treatment of disabilities, alongside the Company’s management.
Headquartered in Toulouse and founded in 1976, the French-based Group has extended its presence since 2016 into neighbouring countries, such as Belgium, Switzerland and Spain. This development was enabled by an active acquisition strategy, which now results in over 30 per cent of its sales being achieved internationally.

Artios Pharma Limited (Artios), a DNA Damage Response (DDR) company exploiting a broad DDR-based platform and small molecule drug discovery capabilities to develop a diverse pipeline of product candidates for the treatment of cancer, has completed a USD153 million (GBP110 million) Series C financing to fund further development of its clinical-stage pipeline.
The oversubscribed financing was co-led by Omega Funds and TCG X. Additional investors include Avidity Partners, Invus, Deep Track Capital, Sofinnova Partners, Tetragon Financial Group, RTW Investments LP, Soleus Capital, Piper Heartland Healthcare Capital, CaaS Capital Management, and Schroders Capital. Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, has sold its portfolio company FlexXray Holdings, LLC (FlexXray) to Warburg Pincus and Tilia Holdings. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
FlexXray is a leading provider of x-ray inspection services focused on food safety. The Company assists Fortune 100 food manufacturers with regulatory compliance and food safety issues by identifying and removing foreign contaminants. Zenput, a specialist in operations execution solutions, has secured USD27 million in a Series C financing round led by Golub Capital with participation by existing investors, including Jackson Square Ventures, MHS Capital, and Goldcrest Capital.

Azora, a Madrid-based European private equity manager and one of Spain’s leading real assets investors, is to dispose of a 1.2GW Spanish renewable energy portfolio to Eni, the Italian based global integrated energy company.
The portfolio comprises three operational onshore wind farms, an onshore wind farm under construction (totalling 230MW between them) and five large solar energy projects in advanced stages of development (totalling c.1GW). The assets are located in the regions of Andalucía, Castilla la Mancha, Castilla y León, Cataluña, Galicia and La Rioja.
