GovExec, an information services company for US government leaders and contractors, has acquired Government Marketing University, (GMarkU) a training, skills development, and career growth community platform that serves the entire public sector ecosystem.  Terms of the deal, which was completed with financial support from mid-market private-equity firm Growth Catalyst Partners (GCP), have not been disclosed. A&M Capital Europe (AMCE), a London-based, operationally-focused European middle-market private equity firm, is to acquire Pet Network International (Pet Network) from US-based asset management group The Rohatyn Group (TRG). Pet Network is an omni channel pet care platform in southeast Europe, operating across Croatia, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Bulgaria. The transaction, terms of which were not disclosed, is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021. Santander Holdings USA, Banco Santander’s US holding company, is to acquire Amherst Pierpont Securities, an independent fixed-income broker dealer, through the acquisition of its parent holding company, Pierpont Capital Holdings, for a total consideration of approximately USD600 million (cEUR500 million).  Amherst Pierpont will become part of Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) global business line.
