Nexa Equity LLC, a private equity firm focused on rapidly scaling lower middle market software and fintech businesses that address markets underserved by technology, has announced its official launch.
The firm was founded by Managing Partner Vlad Besprozvany, a former investor at Insight Partners and Managing Director at Greater Sum Ventures, along with former teammates who worked closely together at Insight Partners and bring substantial investment and operational experience investing in and growing successful companies. Nexa Equity will be focused primarily on control buyouts with strong alignment from current management teams but may selectively pursue other investment structures.

New investments will help them improve service delivery with their products so that Asian financial institutions signed up will be able to automate the securities lending process and enhance profitability.
South Korea: Tru Technologies (Tru), a securities finance technology start-up, announced they had received Series-A investment worth USD3.1 million from seven market-leading Korean investors. The investors include Hana Financial Investment, Hanwha Securities, KB Investment, Kiwoom Investment, Korea Growth Investment Corp, Shinhan Capital, and Stonebridge Ventures.

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, has sold its ownership stake in portfolio company Trinity Consultants to Oak Hill Capital (Oak Hill), with Trinity Consultants employees maintaining a significant minority ownership position.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Flexpoint Ford (Flexpoint), a private equity investment firm specialising in the financial services and healthcare industries, has completed its acquisition of AFH Financial Group (AFH), a leading UK financial planning-led wealth management firm.
Since its IPO in 2014, AFH has been providing wealth management and financial advisory services to over 20,000 clients in the UK. The firm seeks to deliver on its strategy focused on increasing shareholder value through a combination of organic growth via greater productivity of advisers and by value accretive acquisitions financed on an earn-out model.

Argand Partners (Argand), a New York- and San Francisco Bay Area-based industrials private equity firm, has announced that its portfolio company, Cherry AG (Cherry), a global designer and manufacturer of high-precision keyboard PC gaming mechanical switch technology, has successfully completed its IPO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
At the final offer price of EUR32 per share, the total volume of the IPO was significantly oversubscribed. Cherry’s 24,300,000 shares began trading this morning, 29 June, 2021, under the ticker C3RY on the regulated market (Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse).

Anterra Capital (Anterra), an international food and agriculture specialist venture capital firm, has held the initial closing of its second food and agriculture technology fund, Anterra F&A Ventures II, raising USD175 million, exceeding the targeted size of the fund.
Due to the positive market reception for the fund’s mission and strategy, Anterra is tracking towards an upsized second fund, and anticipates a final closing in the third quarter, 2021.

Luminate Capital Partners, a private equity firm investing in enterprise software companies, has sold AutoQuotes, a specialist in configure-price-quote (CPQ) and supply chain software for the foodservice equipment and supplies industry, to TA Associates.
The company will become part of Revalize, a new cloud-software platform for manufacturers formed by TA.
Luminate acquired AutoQuotes in 2018 from the founding team. Since Luminate’s investment, AutoQuotes has seen strong growth, adding a world class management team and significantly expanding its product suite. In 2020, AutoQuotes acquired Axonom, a visual configuration platform for B2B finished products.
