FORM.com, a global leader in mobile data collection, has acquired GoSpotCheck, a provider of mobile task management and image recognition software, in a carveout. The GoSpotCheck software platform will merge with FORM.com, a leader in the business automation space and backed by Diversis Capital, to further enable low-code/no-code mobile data collection and digital process automation for mid-size and large global enterprises.

Maven Capital Partners (Maven), one of the UK’s most active private equity houses, has led the GBP17 million management buyout (MBO) of Envitia Group (Envitia), an established data and geospatial technology and services provider to the defence and public sectors. The transaction has been fully funded by Maven’s maiden institutional fund – Maven UK Regional Buyout Fund LP.
Horsham-based Envitia works with organisations to solve data challenges covering a range of specialised areas such as data discovery and access, data modelling, data quality, AI/Machine Learning, analytics and visualisation all within a geospatial niche.

German venture capital investor MIG AG’s MIG Fonds 8 und 16 has invested in GBS German Bionic Systems, Augsburg, Germany, in a Series A financing. Both participating MIG Funds are each investing EUR2 million in the USD20 round, a total EUR4 million (USD4.8 million) from MIG. McLaren Racing announced has received an investment from MSP Sports Capital (MSP), a New York-based privately held investment advisory firm. MSP Sports Capital and its limited partners were joined by The Najafi Companies and UBS O’Connor, which provided co-investment.
The transaction values McLaren Racing at GBP560 million and strengthens the team’s long-term plan for growth and continued success.
Recent MSP investments include stakes in Agrupación Deportiva Alcorcon, Waasland Beveren, which plays in the Belgian Jupiter League, a Spanish football team based in Madrid, and Estoril Praia Futebol SAD, a Portuguese sports club based in Lisbon which is currently in first place
