CVC Credit Partners (CVC Credit) has priced Cordatus XIX, a Collateralised Loan Obligation (CLO) fund totalling EUR379 million arranged by Barclays. This will be the fifth CLO fund raised by CVC Credit in 2020 and increases our aggregate global issuance for the year to cUSD2.0 billion (cEUR1.7 billion). Chicoa Fish Farm, a Mozambican-based company addressing the critical challenge of a lack of affordable protein in Southern Africa, has closed a Series A equity funding round totalling USD1.5 million from Goodwell Investments. Chicoa Fish Farm was founded by Gerard McCollum and Damien Legros in 2015 with the vision to provide a blueprint for a sustainable aquaculture industry across Africa. Abris CEE Mid-Market III LP fund, managed by Abris Capital Partners (Abris), aprivate equity investor focused on Central Europe, is to acquire 100 per cent of the shares in Scanmed – a Poland-based healthcare network operator – from Life Healthcare Group Holdings Limited (Life Healthcare).  The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2021. Icelandic airline software vendor Dohop has raised an undisclosed growth equity round from Scottish Equity Partners (SEP).  With this investment, Dohop will be able to accelerate its plans to transform how airlines and other travel providers enable passengers to build complex itineraries as the global travel industry transforms in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. Vala Capital, an entrepreneur-led venture capital firm, has launched the Vala Sustainable Growth EIS (enterprise investment scheme) targeting small companies focused on sustainable solutions. Nasdaq Stockholm
Pan-Nordic digital savings and investment platform Nordnet has listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, generating a market capitalisation based on the IPO price of SEK96 per share of around SEK24 billion. The offering attracted interest from Swedish and international institutional investors, as well as the public in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Tom Dinkelspiel, chairman of the board of Nordnet and representing the Öhman Group, commented that this listing on Nasdaq aims to democratise Nordnet’s savings and investments. Nordic Capital has previously invested in financial services companies including Resurs Bank, Nordax Bank, Bambora, Trustly and Max Matthiessen, which it backed in 2020.
