Athennian, developers of a cloud-based legal entity management software, has secured an USD8 million Series A investment, led by Arthur Ventures, and a previously unannounced USD2 million seed financing round from Q3 2019, bringing the total level of funding to USD10 million. Alongside, Arthur Ventures, whose General Partner, Patrick Meenan, has joined Athennian’s board, today’s funding round is supported by Round13 Capital, InterGen Capital, ATB Financial, and existing investors: Thin Air Labs, BlueSky Equities, Viewpoint Capital, Strategic Equities, and others.

Vista Equity Partners (Vista), an investment firm focused on enterprise software, data and technology-enabled businesses, which acquired Infoblox in 2016, will continue as an investor, with Warburg Pincus and Vista equal partners.

Private investment firm GI Partners has held the final closing of its inaugural Data Infrastructure Fund with USD1.8 billion in capital commitments from a broad group of investors. The fund was oversubscribed, surpassing its initial target of USD1.25 billion.

Finnish venture capital firm Superhero Capital has announced the first close of its second fund at EUR30 miollion.
