Global tax software provider Sovos has acquired Brighton based Accordance, a UK value-added tax (VAT) managed services company.
Sagewind Capital (Sagewind), a New York-based private equity firm, has invested in QuantiTech, a provider of highly technical engineering services to the Army, Air Force, NASA and various other key defence agencies. QuantiTech’s capabilities supporting hypersonics, counter unmanned aircraft systems, and human spaceflight include systems engineering, cybersecurity, test & evaluation, and program management. Manila-based private equity firm Navegar has held a final close of its second fund at USD197 million, above the fund’s USD150 million target. The fund will focus on investments in established companies in the consumer and business services sectors in the Philippines. Monument Group acted as a placement agent and exclusive adviser on the raise. New York-based private equity firm CI Capital Partners has partnered with with Paul Winnowski, the former President and COO of Sunrun, and former President of UTC Fire & Security in Europe & South Africa, to jointly pursue platform company investments in the residential solar industry and the commercial security integration industry. Winnowski has significant operational experience in both sectors, having formerly served as the President and COO of Sunrun, the nation’s largest residential solar company, from 2014 to 2018.
