Caring Brands International (CBI), a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), has completed the acquisition of its Bluebird Care Master Franchise in the Republic of Ireland. Through the acquisition, CBI adds direct franchising rights in the Republic of Ireland, which it serves through its Bluebird Care brand, and 26 franchise locations to its portfolio of over 550 locations across the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. The franchisees in the Republic of Ireland will now have direct access to the wide-ranging support and services of Bluebird Care, one of the United Kingdom’s largest homecare providers, and CBI.   Founded

London-based VGC Partners is launching its GBP1 million Technology Seed Fund IV, headed by Parminder Basran, which looks to invest in early stage, tech companies which are addressing corporate innovation challenges. Epidarex Capital (Epidarex), a transatlantic life science venture firm, has closed Epidarex Capital III UK LP at GBP102.1 million.  The Fund will build new life science companies based on world-class research and innovation from emerging hubs across the UK, including spinouts from highly regarded universities. Independent fund and corporate services provider, the Aztec Group, has been selected by Ardian to administer its eighth-generation secondaries platform, ASF VIII, which Ardian says is the world’s largest. Nordic lower mid-market growth and buyout group Priveq, which invests in companies within the consumer, healthcare, IT and software sectors, has closed its sixth fund on SEK 2.5 billion. The fund’s investors include existing and new Nordic, European and North American investors, including public and private pension funds, insurance companies, charitable foundations, endowments, public institutions, family offices and fund-of-funds.
