Avedon Capital Partners (Avedon) has teamed up with the founders of Maxident, Crossmill, Hamm Dental (Hamm) and B u T Dentaltechnik (BuT), to found the DELABO Group.
The combination of these three independent German dental laboratories with complementary technical and operational capabilities will form the nucleus for a buy & build strategy to drive consolidation in the fragmented German dental laboratories market. The transaction successfully closed on 16 September, 2019. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price or further details of the transaction.

Specialist eCommerce platform Online Poundshop has secured considerable investment from venture capital firm Midven, allowing the company to upgrade current warehouse systems, and create a range of new positions across the business – including marketing and distribution roles.

The Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) has released the first publicly available Model Limited Partnership Agreement (LPA) for the private equity industry.
The legal template, which is available for complimentary, industry-wide use, conforms to ILPA Principles 3.0 and sets a new standard for alignment of interests between general (GPs) and limited partners (LPs). The Model LPA also addresses a persistent and shared need of GPs and LPs to reduce the complexity, cost and resources required to negotiate the terms of investment in private equity funds.

Peaceable Street Capital (Peaceable Street), a finance company that provides preferred equity capital for small and mid-sized income-producing real estate in North America, has secured an undisclosed minority equity investment from Declaration Partners, the investment firm backed by the family office of David M Rubenstein, Co-Founder of The Carlyle Group.

Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) Debt Finance, managed by Maven Capital Partners (Maven), has provided Sleaford Building Services Limited (SBS) with a GBP750,000 funding package.
Greater-Lincolnshire based SBS provide clients with a range of services including design and build MEP Services, alongside installation and coordination services for pre-designed projects. The firm will use the loan to support its growth plans, helping deliver a number of upcoming contracts, while also creating 15 new jobs.

Venture capital firm BIP Capital has closed BIP Capital Venture Fund IV, with USD101 million in capital commitments, surpassing its target of USD100 million.
Venture Fund IV will provide Series A and Series B financing for market-disrupting B2B SaaS and tech-enabled services companies focused on Enterprise SaaS, Healthcare IT, Digital Media, Dev Tools, and MarTech.
The firm will continue to focus on companies in the southeastern United States’ startup ecosystem, while also expanding into the Midwest where it has already begun making investments. BIP Capital currently has more than 30 companies in its investment portfolio.
