Hermes Infrastructure, on behalf of Hermes Infrastructure Fund II (HIF II), is to invest in an 813 megawatt (MW) portfolio of five Swedish onshore wind farms in conjunction with consortium partner CGN Europe Energy (CGNEE). HIF II will take an initial 20 per cent equity ownership stake and CGNEE has underwritten the remaining 80 per cent. Lookiero, an online personal shopping service for clothes and accessories, has closed a USD19 million funding round led by venture capital fund MMC Ventures with support from existing investor All Iron Ventures, and new investors Bonsai Partners, 10x and Santander Smart. DustPhotonics, a provider of optical modules for enabling data centre and computing connectivity, has secured a Series B investment of USD25 million led by Intel Capital and joined by WRVI Capital. Private equity firm Corsair Capital (Corsair) is to acquire a majority stake in Axo AS (Axo), a leading distributor of financial services products in the Nordic region. Financial terms have not been disclosed. The value of regulated funds serviced in Jersey rose by 7 per cent to a new record high in the first half of 2019, according to the latest figures to be collated by the jurisdiction’s financial regulator the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC).  Figures for the second quarter of 2019 (ending 30 June 2019) show that the net asset value of regulated funds under administration in Jersey grew by GBP22.1 billion over the first six months of the year to stand at GBP342.1 billion, a new record high and a figure that has grown by more than 70 per cent
SDCL Energy Efficiency Income Trust plc, a UK-listed investment company focused exclusively on the energy efficiency sector, is to acquire a portfolio of cogeneration assets in Spain for a total cash consideration of approximately EUR64 million. The substantial majority of the portfolio’s revenues are investment grade, with nine operational projects providing in aggregate 125 MW of clean and efficient energy generation.
