General Atlantic makes minority growth investment in HighLevel

Global growth equity firm General Atlantic has made a minority growth investment in HighLevel, a sales and marketing automation software provider for marketing agencies, entrepreneurs and small businesses.

As part of the transaction, Asher Hecht and Preston McKenzie will join HighLevel’s board of directors. Existing investor PeakEquity Partners will remain an active shareholder in the company and retain its board seat.

According to a press statement, the partnership with General Atlantic will enable HighLevel to invest further in growth and innovation initiatives across product and AI to provide a differentiated experience and platform to its clients.

HighLevel joins General Atlantic’s portfolio of global technology companies, with former investments including Airbnb, Clear, Snap and Uber.

HighLevel was advised by JPMorgan Securities and O’Melveny & Myers. General Atlantic was advised by Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
