GenNx360 Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on middle market opportunities, is making several executive promotions with effect from January 17, 2011.
The promotions include Mukesh Sawlani, who has been named managing director – Global Operations. Sawlani previously served as chief financial officer and in his new role he will work with Charles Castine, senior partner at GenNx360, and be responsible for further strengthening the firm’s operations practice.
Additionally, Rahul Mahajan has been promoted to managing director – Strategic Initiatives. In his new role,Mahajan will lead strategic initiatives for GenNx360, particularly as they relate to new fund issues and GenNx360’s global footprint.
Rishi Verma has been promoted to managing director – India. In his new role, Verma will lead the India team and have oversight responsibility for GenNx360’s operations across India.
Mahajan and Verma, as well as the India team, will now be aligned under Jim Shepard, co-founder and managing partner at GenNx360, who will spearhead the India operations and other strategic initiatives at the firm.

Sawlani joined GenNx360 in April 2006. Prior to joining GenNx360, he held a number of operating and finance roles with major global enterprises.
Mahajan and Verma joined GenNx360 in November and August of 2007, respectively, after providing management and oversight for corporate initiatives such as project financing, pricing and strategic marketing, project feasibility studies and other market studies for major global enterprises.
