Gibson Dunn adds real estate M&A partner and tax partner in London office

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has appointed Jeremy Kenley and Sandy Bhogal as partners in the firm’s London office.

At Gibson Dunn, Kenley will continue his real estate private equity practice, and Bhogal will continue his corporate tax practice. Both will join the firm from Mayer Brown International.
“We welcome Jeremy and Sandy to the firm,” says Ken Doran, Chairman and Managing Partner of Gibson Dunn. “Building out our transactional practice in London has been a strategic priority for the firm, and the office has developed a broad capability in public and private M&A, private equity, equity capital markets, real estate, and finance.  Jeremy and Sandy are both highly regarded in their respective areas, and with their addition, we are even better positioned to serve our clients.”
“Sandy and Jeremy are strong additions to the firm,” says Jeffrey Trinklein, Co-Partner in Charge of the London office.  “Jeremy is recognized as a leading player among the handful of top-notch real estate private equity lawyers in London, and we expect he will contribute significantly to our well established team who already represent many of the world’s leading real estate private equity firms. Similarly, Sandy is recognized as a leader in the London tax community, particularly in terms of his transactional and advisory experience. They both have the right combination of technical skill, experience and fit that will make them assets to our team in London, Europe and globally.”
“Gibson Dunn has an outstanding US and international platform,” says Kenley. “Joining the firm was an opportunity I could not pass up, and I look forward to joining my new colleagues.”
“I was drawn to Gibson Dunn’s strategic growth in London and am looking forward to contributing to its growing corporate practice,” says Bhogal.
