BrightNight, a renewable power company serving utility, commercial and industrial customers, has secured a $440m investment from the infrastructure business at Goldman Sachs Alternatives.
Goldman Sachs’ investment, together with existing capital commitments, will fund BrightNight’s five-year business plan and the execution of its 31-gigawatt renewable power project portfolio, which is supported by its AI software platform, PowerAlpha.
The transaction is expected to close in September 2024.
