Halle Capital’s Rockit Pest acquires Home Pest Control

Rockit Pest, a portfolio company of private equity firm Halle Capital, has acquired Home Pest Control (HPC), a provider of pest control services in South Carolina.

The acquisition is consistent with Rockit’s strategy of identifying and investing in pest control businesses that are poised for long-term growth in both South Carolina and the greater southeast region.

Steven Leidinger, who has been an owner and general manager of the business for 26 years, will continue to manage the business as President of HPC. “I’m excited for Home to join the Rockit Pest family,” he says. “Rockit has established itself as a first-class enterprise in the pest control industry with its focus on enhancing both the customer and employee experience. We look forward to working with them to grow our business while continuing to provide quality service to new and existing customers across South Carolina.”

Curtis M Loftis, Jr, current President and majority shareholder, will transition from his role at Home Pest to join Rockit Pest’s Board of Directors.

Patrick Settle, Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development at Rockit, says: “We are excited to welcome Steve and the HPC team to Rockit Pest. I have known Steve for many years and have been impressed with the business he and his team have built across South Carolina. His dedication to customer service and employee engagement are key ingredients of the company’s success. HPC is a great strategic fit for Rockit Pest as it helps to extend our presence across the state as we continue our mission to build a top-tier pest control company.”
