An affiliate of HIG Capital, a global alternative investment firm with $64bn of capital under management, has acquired Axis Europe Limited, a UK provider of property maintenance services, from its founder and owner, John Hayes.
John Hayes will reinvest alongside HIG and join the board as a non-executive director. HIG plans to combine Axis with its existing portfolio company, CLC Group, to create a national property maintenance specialist with experience across end-markets and maintenance disciplines.
Axis provides planned maintenance, responsive repairs and refurbishment to clients in social housing and local government.
