Jose Castellano has joined iM Global Partner as deputy CEO and Head of International Business Development.
iM Global Partner is an investment and development asset management platform focused on acquiring strategic investments in traditional and alternative investment firms, its Partners, with an objective of growing together. iM Global Partner aims to cover a wide spectrum of high alpha strategies globally supporting its present and future top-of-the-range managers.
iM Global Partner, which opened a distribution platform in the United States mid-2018, is now accelerating its international business development’s resources for its Partners.
Castellano (pictured), will support the continuous build-up of the company with direct responsibility over the business development of iM Global Partner outside of the USA and reports to Philippe Couvrecelle, founder and CEO of iM Global Partner.
iM Global Partner is building an International sales/distribution team to help driving significant asset flows, identifying, creating new partnership, and developing new products.
Castellano brings more than 25 years of experience in distribution. He notably spent over 17 years at Pioneer Investments, where he was one of the leading distribution executives with roles in Asia Pacific, LatAm, US offshore and Iberia. Under his tenure his regions experienced highest growth globally, making them one of the market leading asset managers in each of his markets, ultimately combining his region under the so-called Growth Region. Prior to joining Pioneer Investments in January 2001, he was Director for Morgan Stanley’s private equity group for two years, and Director of Wealth Management for a further seven years at the same entity.
Jose Castellano is a Finance undergraduate of Saint Louis University and holds graduate titles at Universidad de Nebrija and IE University.
