Impax Group, the Aim listed investment manager focused on the environmental sector, has appointed Vince O’Brien as a non-executive director.
Impax Group, the Aim listed investment manager focused on the environmental sector, has appointed Vince O’Brien as a non-executive director.
O’Brien (pictured) is currently a director of Montagu Private Equity and has worked in the private equity industry for over 20 years.
Originally qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers and Lybrand he joined Montagu Private Equity in 1993. Formerly O’Brien was chairman of the BVCA and served on its council for seven years.
Keith Falconer, Impax Group chairman, says: ‘We are delighted that Vince has joined the Impax board. Our private equity business is making excellent progress, and, with his considerable experience in this area, I am confident that Vince will bring a valuable strategic perspective to the company.’
O’Brien adds: ‘Impax is a well-managed, dynamic young business operating in an exciting growth sector. I hope to make a positive contribution to its development in the coming years.’
