Innova Capital, a Central European private equity firm, has launched a Technology Advisory Board, a counselling body aimed at strengthening the position of the fund’s portfolio companies in the field of new technologies.
The initiative is a response to the growing demand for professional support in digitalisation for developing companies and will involve renowned managers from the tech industry. The Technology Advisory Board is a first-of-its-kind initiative in the Central and Eastern European private equity market, though it has been successfully implemented by some of the world’s largest investment funds.
The newly formed council aims to deliver structured, end-to-end support to technology portfolio companies in scaling value creation and enhancing competitive edge. At the same time, it will assist more traditional businesses in the digital transformation of core operations.
With the launch of its Technology Advisory Board, the fund presents a renewed value proposition, aiming to strengthen support for its portfolio companies across operations and growth, in line with the market’s increasing demands.
The fund focuses on companies offering solutions that drive digital transformation – particularly in areas such as software/SaaS, e-commerce, and digital services (including cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services).
As part of the board, it will advise them on key areas for technology businesses, including sales and go-to-market strategies, marketing and business development, product and technology, AI and data, as well as growth through M&A, organisational culture, and talent management.
