Rockefeller Financial has appointed Jeffery Moy as Head of Private Equity with effect from 1 August, 2011. Moy will be responsible for oversight of Rockefeller Financial’s private equity and venture capital program, including the selection and review of third-party managers, the review of client private equity portfolios and new business development.

Prior to joining Rockefeller, Moy was most recently a Senior Managing Director at Liberty Mutual Investment Advisors, LLC, where, among other things, he spearheaded a strategy to broaden the firm’s alternative markets portfolio. During his 16-year career at the firm, he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, recommending, and monitoring a portfolio of funds across venture capital, growth capital, leveraged buyout partnerships, emerging market funds, private equity secondaries and co-investments.
Moy received a MS in Management from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and a BS in Business Administration from Boston University. He holds the following professional designations: Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Market Technician and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
